Farm Road Grading

Farm-road grading should address the reason water and traffic damage the surface. Repeatedly dragging loose material over a pothole can leave its weak base unchanged.

Before moving material

Inspect crossfall, wheel tracks, drain outlets and underlying material.

Receiving operation and checks

Compact and check the surface before normal traffic resumes. Inspect culvert approaches and areas where runoff crosses the road.

Grading cannot compensate for inadequate drainage or unsuitable pavement material.

Sports Field Preparation

Sports-field preparation combines play-surface design with drainage and layer control. The required profile may include deliberate gradients rather than a perfectly horizontal plane.

Before moving material

Confirm the venue design and the sequence of drainage and surface construction.

Receiving operation and checks

Hand over to drainage checks, turf preparation and venue inspection. Measure levels independently of the machine's guidance display.

Do not advertise standards compliance without the applicable specification and evidence.

Vegetable Field Levelling

Vegetable-field levelling establishes the broad surface below the crop-bed pattern. Both field outlets and bed ends must remain connected.

Before moving material

Confirm row direction, irrigation arrangement and growing-layer depth.

Receiving operation and checks

Complete crop-specific bed and seedbed preparation. Inspect drainage at row ends and changes between field zones.

Levelling does not replace cultivation or establish crop-bed specifications.
